It's been one week since I've had my custom Lasik eye surgery on both eyes and I am very pleased and amazed at the results. Within 24 hours after the surgery I was seeing the world with what felt like new eyes and a new vision. Seeing small branches showing up clearly on distant trees against the blue winter sky was a remarkable sight that next morning.
I could not be more impressed with the professionalism of the entire staff at Cheasaeake Eye Care. When entering the office and waiting room for the first time, there is a very positive and energetic feel to the place. All the staff and doctors are enthusiastic, knowleable and friendly.
Dr. Scott performed my surgery and the whole experience couldn't have gone more smoothly. Having talked to some other people who have also had the operation, we know she is both a caring and talented surgeon. During the operation, she provided constant positive feedback and reassurance. This was great to hear. The operation was quick and effortless, the office environment was calming and pleasant.
When I was sitting at the Wavefront Device prior to the surgery, after having my eyes scanned I said "well do you think that will be good enough?" to which the technician replied "Good enough, is not good enough here. When it comes to your eyes, we are striving for 'perfect'. " I think this fairly represents the competence and attitude of the people of Chesapeake Eye Care and Laser Center.

Jean Trinkaus and Chesapeake Eye Care were extremely helpful in making sure that I was comfortable with not only the LASIK procedure, but also the costs involved as well. I honestly feel that they were looking out for my best interests. In fact, when I had a last minute change in my schedule they were extremely accommodating and professional in getting me a new appointment at the next available time. Not only is Dr. Scott the best example of what a doctor should be, she is also a very caring human being.
I've never been able to see this well before. Even with my contact lenses.
I could see the birds for the first time.
I can't find the words to describe how effective this procedure is. It's going to change my life. I wish I had it done sooner.
